I have a Shimano Chronarch 100SF baitcast reel in excellent condition super smooth mechanics. I purchased three of these Chronarch 100SF reels from a man. He told me two of them never had line on them and this is one of the two. Although I am selling it as used because it does have some small spots on it maybe from storage. These are some wonderful bass fishing reels hard to beat.

The reel, Shimano Chronarch 100 BSV which is no longer made and highly sought after. This reel has quite a bit of boat rash but casts like a dream still.it's a very smooth reel and what you would expect from a high end Shimano. The rod is one you wont find many of these days. Hello! The Shimano Scorpion Metanium MG RH420 was Japan's version of the US Chronarch 100 MG. The Scorpion model is lighter. Has upgraded parts, is better looking. I installed a nice 95mm power handle w/oversized grips that replaced the stock 70mm one, much nicer. Also just recently put new"smoothie" carbon drag washers in. Took really good care of this reel and it is in great shape. Mechanically: Handle& spool spin great. Reeling is very smooth, never had any problems with the reels functionality which is Excellent overall. Cosmetically: Minimal scuffs& scratches with one very thin cut on the thumb bar which isn't noticable by touch. Most noticable is the latch wings to get into the brake system that chipped off one morning when trying to open the sideplate which I over-tightened. My fault. I have a very nice Shimano Bantam Chronarch 100 baitcast reel with a 6.3:1 retrieve ratio up for auction today. This reel just came back from being serviced. Super smooth, all cleaned up, I would say it is a 9 out of a 10 on the cosmetic scale and 9.5 out of 10 mechanically. Very little wrong with this reel, a few light scratches here and there, this reel weighed in right at 8.3 ounces. I do have a sister reel just like this one for sale in another auction.
