This is a near mint condition Shimano Stella 4000FD spinning reel. It has been lightly used and well maintained. There are no scratches that I can find. The only thing that stands out is what appears to be hard water stains on the butt and rotor. This results in a bubbling or crackling pattern on the metal sheaths on the reel. It actually looks quite cool. In my opinion. You can see the stains in the last few pictures. Drags are very strong and smooth. Comes as seen. Sorry, no box or accessories, just the pouch. This is my Shimano 2000 Spinning Reel. It did not come from a garage sale or an estate sale. I bought this brand new. This reel is in perfect condition and reels& casts like a charm. Drag works properly also. I will also include two(2) spare spools with monofilament line on each of them. This reel has indications that it has been used. But not abused. Nothing is missing or has ever needed repair. It has been used exclusively with salt water fishing but has always gotten a fresh water soaking and fresh reel oil on all gears after every use. This auction is for a Shimano TX1000FA ultralite spinning reel. This reel is in excellent like new condition and has been completely serviced. It is hard to beat Shimano for quality and dependability. I have been fishing for over 55 years and I use Shimano exclusively. When I say the reel has been serviced I mean it has been completely stripped down and soaked in mineral spirits over night. Thoroughly cleaned, and then reassembled with synthetic grease and oil to prevent rust and hardening of the lubricants. This reel functions perfectly and shows no signs of wear. I have been repairing and rebuilding/restoring fishing reels for over 35 years and this reel is an excellent buy. I try very hard to price the shipping costs at what my costs are keeping in mind that Paypal charges me 4% and Ebay charges 10% and nobody likes to lose money so I ... moream as fair as I can be.
