Vintage Shimano Custom X-1000 Quickfire spinning reel and a Shimano Magnumlite ML2551 Light Action Rod. Both made in Japan. The reel is in mint condition- just a couple of very light paint rubs on the handle. The rod is in excellent shape. Though the tip guide will need to be replaced(insert is missing) Two piece rod. 5' 6" long. It is rated for 4-8 lb line and 1/16- 3/8 oz lures(though I couldn't imagine throwing anything that heavy with it. I would say it is more of a true ultralight rod with a little backbone. I had no problem casting a 1/32 crappie jig with 4 lb line) The rod will be carefully packaged in bubblewrap and shipped in a PVC tube via Priority Mail. The reel will ship separately via First Class Mail.
