Nice Used Vintage Shakespeare Model 2052 Ultralight Spinning Reel
Up for auction is a nice little used Shakespeare Model 2052 Ultralight spinning reel. It was made in the United States and is so marked ont he foot. This all metal reel weighs in at 8.8 ounces. The retrieve ratio is not marked on the reel. But I would say it is about 4.5:1. The reel is in very good condition. There are two small spots loss of the maroon finish: one is on the gear housing away from the crank and the other is on the spool housing. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the condition of this reel. The reel is in good working order. The action is smooth and the anti reverse and clicker work fine. Vintage Shakespeare Sigma 2400-035 spinning reel Japan EXC.
You are looking at a vintage Shakespeare Sigma Graphite model 2400-035 spinning reel in excellent condition. I bought this reel new and it has seen little use. It is a high quality reel made in Japan. The line capacity is 240 yds of 6 lb. mono or 145 yds of 10 1b mono. it can be switched to right or left hand retrieve. I would say the size is slightly larger than an ulltralight. It comes with the original instructions but no box. It is very smooth and lightweight. Has two stainless steel ball bearings and a rear adjustable drag. There are a couple tiny marks on it, hardly visible and it functions perfectly. 4 Mitchell Spinning Reels 304, 300, 308A, 3000 + extra reel canisters, reels
This is one big lot of four(4) vintage GARCIA MITCHELL Spinning Reels. They are models#s 304(in original matching serial numbered box and owners manual and warranty card) 308A, 300, and Garcia 3000. All but the 3000 are MADE IN FRANCE. The 3000 was made in Japan. All have moving levers and rotating reels, and all have handles. None have broken external parts. These are complete with thier original dust, and oil-exactly as the came straight off the rods. I have not opened up any of them at, so I cannot make any guarantees that they all function. I highly suspect some of them do work perfectly, some probably need restoration, or maybe better used as parts or body sources. The 304 has its original box(serial numbers match the box to the reel) and all its paperwork. There is also an extra five(5) spare reels, all marked FRANCE, some with original ... moreline. There is also three(3) spare reel canisters, all Marked"Mitchell and France" Two of them are 2.5" diameter, and one is 2" in diameter. Vintage Bronson Dart No 905 Spinning Reel, Made in USA
Here's a nice little vintage reel in good working condition. Shows some age on the outside but still works as well as it did the day it was made. The case shows some box wear and one small dent and there is a bit of corrosion on the mount. The mount is stamped" made in U.S.A. and"patent applied for" so this might indicate a late 60's manufacturing date. The plastic crank handle is in good condition but does show some stains and yellowing from age. The reel feels mechanically tight and firm and should still drag in the meat. And it's American made.
