2012 Shimano Crucial Drop Shot Spinning Rod, 6'8''
You are bidding on a(one) summer used Shimano Crucial(2012) model. This is their"Drop Shot" Spinning series rod. Model. CRS-DX68MHA, or 6'8' Medium Heavy xfast. It has a nice soft tip, but plenty of backbone! These are the rods that Cliff Pace used to win the 2013 Bassmaster Classic! This rod is in good condition! ◄█ Vintage Garcia Conolon 9' 6" Saltwater Spinning / Surf Rod 9ft 6in Mod. 2165
◄█ Vintage 2-Piece Fiberglass Garcia Conolon 2165 Saltwater spinning/surf rod in excellent condition. Unfortunately pictures cannot do this rod justice. In fact. I don't think I can explain what an amazing vintage piece this is and how substantial it feels in your hand. According to the Garcia label, this 9'6" rod is a"FAST TAPER, MEDIUM ACTION" ROD. It does not have a line or lure weight rating on the label but it comfortably threw 5-ounce cut bait for me without any issues. The bottom piece is 48.75" long. The top piece is 67" long. The cork handles are approximately 1.375" in diameter and where the rod blank protrudes from the top cork handle, the rod is about 13/16" in diameter. The ferrule is solid machined aluminum with what appears to be brass electroplating. It seats very firmly and actually ... moretakes quite a bit of muscle to seat and unseat. The cork handles are in excellent condition with no foul odor, mold, mildew, etc. The fighting butt has some surface cracks from age(pictured) but does not feel weak or brittle and is fully functional- it is not chalking and does not leave residue on your hand. The top piece of the reel seat has a small dent in it(pictured) but it does not affect the rod's performance. Both seat tightening rings spin freely and the threads are in perfect condition. All seven of the stainless steel guides(to include the tip) and guide wraps are in excellent condition. The gold paint has some light surface scuffs and discoloration here and there but overall is in very nice shape. ◄█ I will package carefully and ship via USPS Parcel Select. Original rod bag separator stitch is missing so I have provided another rod bag with two separate compartments for the pieces. This rod has amazing action. I am a smallmouth/ slow-action glass rod fisherman myself and love the action of this rod. I have never fished with this rod. The chrome outer, ceramic ... moreinner double footed and bridged guides are as new and the wraps tight and glossy. The reel seat is easy to access with a screw fastener. The reel- is durable all metal construction. Has a steel front cap guide, dual paddle steel crank, large and easily accessible contoured on/off push button. It is well constructed with a rugged all metal spinner head and 2.8:1 ratio gears. It has a conveniently located and easily adjustable drag. Everything on both pieces is original. It is from the estate of a long time fishing enthusiast. I do not know the exact age but think it dates to the 1980s. All of these fishing accessories that I have listed are presented to you as found- nothing has been cleaned or polished. Replaced, line or weights(where present) removed. 10.5 ft South Bend Ultra Light Spinning Rod
This is a"noodling" rod. This rod is Very long at 10.5 ft and breaks down to 2 pieces. It has foam grips in decent shape and the guides and tip are in good condition. It is ultra-light and designed for mooching but my idea was to use it for surf perch. The action was a little too light for that so I am also selling this rod. The Butt ring is unlined& along with the& 3 Low Bells. The tip ring is Red Agate lined.All whippings are Red. Ferrules are a good fit. This lovely little rod is in good restored condition for age.
