This beautiful 712Z reel spins fast and smooth with the very crisp bail. It has just a few very light scratches( see photos) but no significant paint loss. For the past couple of weeks I've been thinning out my vintage reel collection and this is the last of the Penn reels that I plan to sell. If you win this bid. Do not know how old this is, it must be pretty old judging by the eyelets, It is a Garcia, it says 2805 on it, 8- 12 lb line is on one sticker, it says 7 foot 1 length, also has a sticker that says Florida on it and has a picture of a fish. stickers are only partially there and have wear, cork handles, i believe this is fiberglass blank, neat peace, sold as is, no returns, ships to USA only, check pics carefully because i know little about this rod. happy bidding

Antique Heavily Carved Oak Spinning Wheel Chair/Stool - UK, British Celtic
For sale is a really awesome antique spinning wheel chair from the UK. Wales Ireland, England, Scotland. This item is hand carved oak in a Celtic design with a heart cut-out on the back. The back of the chair comes out(it's held in place with a wooden plug) and can be used as a fireplace stool also. The underside has an old label, E. PIXTON, I do not know if this was the artist, designer. owner, etc. The four legged stool measures 13-3/4 inches high, 11-3/4 inches wide and 13-1/2 inches deep. The slot for the back measures 3 inches by 1 inch. The heavily carved back measures 24 inches above the top of the stool and over 7-1/2 inches wide at the top. I do not think the little wooden plug holding the back to the stool(which it doesn't do very well, it measures 2-1/4 inches long. Condition is very strong and sturdy. There is light wear ... moreand scratching to some of the edges. This is a fabulous accent piece.

St.croix premier spinning rod. this has had a brand new tip section installed with new guides. Wrapped, and finished. Repaired length is 6' Light power. all guides, wraps,cork and reel seat are in great shape. the factory label has been altered to void warranty. i have put a coat of fresh finish over the labels to protect your hands and fingers. the picture of the destroyed label is a stock photo. they all have scraped labels. Some more readable than others. these rods were all broken at various lengths that affected the action enough that in my opinion they were unfishable. i have brand new tip sections for 2 piece rods that i got directly from st.croix. these are fortified for extra strength at the joint, and designed to be tip sections of 2 piece rods, not just a broken piece of another rod stuck on the end. new guides have been installed ... moreof the proper size and placement, and a fresh coat of rod finish over all guides, top, joint, and label areas. these are expert repairs by a professional rodsmith with over 30 years experience, and not just a tape and glue job like others are trying to pass off as quality repairs. during the summer i may not always be able answer emails immediately. if you have questions call 715-203-4260. all rods ship in a PVC tube.
