(2) Wright & McGill Trail Master Eagle Claw 4 pc. Spinning Rods - Some Repair
Here are two Wright& McGill Trail Master Fishing Rods as shown. But one is missing the entire tip section and one has a bad cork handle. The four pieces in the top of the photo constitute a complete rod that on the butt section says Wright& McGill Trailmaster 6 1/2 Ft. No M4TMS. I am not sure if all four pieces of this rod are original, but all four fit together nicely and does make a complete rod. However, the tip section of this rod has been broken, but has been spliced and repaired nicely, so I wouldn’t think it would present a problem. Because of the repair, I think the rod is a little longer than designed, measuring 6‘ 71/2” long. The bottom half of the cork on this rod needs replacing as one side is missing most of the cork and there is no end cap on the end. The bottom three pieces in the photo constitute another rod that are ... moreoriginal, but no tip section(it has been broken off inside the female ferrule of the third piece) These three pieces are very nice and fit together nicely. On the second section of this rod it says Eagle Claw Trailmaster 7 1/2‘ 4 pc. spinning rod Wright& McGill. Besides missing the tip section, the first guide on the second section is missing the ring from inside the frame. See pictures as they will serve as part of the description. This appears to be a Champion featherweight spinning rod handle that measures 12" long. It has beautiful gold colored hold downs that hold the reel in the real seat. The cork handle is very good. No chips. On the butt end there appears to be some very dim writting but I can't make it out. Where the rod goes, the screw on cap& finger are very good& are brown in color like a Champion but since I'm not positive, I'm selling it as unknown. It appears to have been used very little if any? ESTATE FIND You are looking at a Beautiful vintage Fenwick FS80 Spinning Rod. Complete with rod sock. Marked on the rod is Fenwick. M 207188, FS80 8' 7-1/2 OZ, 3/8-1 OZ. Lures, 8-20 lb. Line Made in USA. Rod is basically in excellent used condition. A light scratch at the tightening rings where the reel attaches. And if you look hard enough you got to find at least a couple of scratches somewhere. The cork has a few nicks here and there. see picture) Rod sock is in Dusty(not ripped) condition, not sure if this is the original sock, but will keep the pole safe. an old south bend fly rod. in pretty good condition for being as old as it is, far from perfect but still very fishable, its a 6'6" rod, i believe its a 4wt rod might be a 3wt? as i cant read the original sticker. all the guides are in great shape and the serving is in really nice shape as well, you will need to clean the ferrels with alcohol and q-tips as the sections stick a little bit,great back pack rod, i do my shipping on the weekends so please keep this in mind. i ship by usps priority mail. even if you win and pay on a monday it wont get shipped till saturday. i do my best to describe my items for sale. these are used so do expect perfection. Vintage Early 1950's Crack 200 Spinning Reel (Perfect Condition)
A one of a kind. Vintage crack model 200 spinning reel made in France in the early 50's. This reel looks like it has never touch saltwater, however there are very minor, easily cleanable, tarnishes. I had it grease and serviced one month ago but I decided to leave it up to the buyer to clean the already immaculate finish if they please. Everything about the action of the reel seems brand new. I cannot describe, in words, the amazingly fluid movement. This is the blue Tec Spec Elite Spinning rod by Field and Stream. It is a Medium Heavy Rod with fast action. This rod is excellent for anybody. Very strong and durable. And at the same time very sensitive. Everything about this rod is good. It is in near perfect the condition. The only way anybody would now it was used is by the handle. It has small signs of being used on the handle but nothing major. I have landed several big fish on this rod and landed them without a problem. The only reason I am selling it is to upgrade to a rod that meets my needs a little more. It also allows very long and smooth casts.
