A: The rod is returned to St Croix because it was either broken some how or had a factory defect(Ex. color might be off a little) St Croix voids the warranty by scrapping the label off the rod. The black aluminum reel seat has one spot(nick) that I touched up, and it's visible but very minor. The rod is 9'0" long, 4-pieces, for 5 weight fly lines. It comes with what is shown in the pictures, the rod and an aftermarket fly rod sock. The sock has one small hole near the fold. No hard case is included. ST. CROIX Fiberglass 6' spin rod; Green
This is a vintage St. Croix fiberglass spin Rod in a semi-transparent lime green color(very unusual) It is in used condition with seven of the eye wrappings fully intact and two partially intact. I think the photos will show them well. The cork handle has two small chunks missing along with one red reel seat. All in all. A pretty nice find for its age, and from one of the very best Rod makers in the world.

St. Croix Legend Musky LM-66MH Musky Rod
I have a St. Croix Legend Series Musky Rod model LM-66MH. It is a 6'6" Medium Heavy Rod. It is rated for 16- 30 pound line weight. And 3/4- 3 ounce lure weight. This rod retailed for a little over $350. It is in good shape. I purchased it from a tackle shop I worked at as part of a batch of rods from St. Croix. The batch had some custom stuff. Standard stuff, closeouts, etc. This particular rod was evidently something from their custom shop. It has the name"Scotty" in gold on it. And a sticker of what appears to be a Tarpon on the bottom. Both name and tarpon are beneath the flex coat layer so they will not peel off) The rod is in good shape. Cork is in good condition- overall. There were a few holes in it that appeared to be damage from shipping/ storage vs. use. I filled them and resanded. You can see the fill spots in ... morethe picture. But they should be good to go for use(wood filler- a standard cork repair practice) They guides. Wraps, and coatings on the wraps are all in good shape. There are some scratches on the rod. I tried to take pics- one pic shows a few of them. None of the scratches go through to the blank from what I can tell- they are all surface coat only. So no worries about blank damage. This rod has a nice deep maroon color to it. Pics do no do it justice. I purchased this rod to use as a heavy catfish rig. But never did anything with it- it's been sitting in my rod stand and it's time for it to go. I don't know that it has ever been used. But I do not know the full history of it, so for selling purposes consider it a used rod. I will ship insured the next business day after receiving payment.
