This rod never made it out for a fishing trip. It has a few small surface scuffs from rubbing on other rods in the garage. Nothing that detracts from its visual beauty or performance. But I need to mention it. Its a Heavy Power rod made for casting 4-5 oz lead and a whole bunker bait. I never used it because its an overkill for blue fish and stripers in my area. He was contractually requiredto scratch the name“St. Croix” off of all the rods he sold. Youcan still read it, but it's mostly scratched off. Also, most of themodel number is gone, I can't figure it out with any confidence. Theonly thing you can clearly read is“Made in U.S.A. Anyway, ithas been, for years, my favorite 4 wt and I used it quite often. Ijumped out of the car a few months ago, threw the rod together andtried a very tight case under a limb and.snap. My seven photos should be able to speak for themselves, as to the appearance of this fishng outfit and its carry case, as well as their overall physical condition. The black carry case measures 18 X 8 inches. The carry case is lined with a black satin/nylon-like fabric. Except for a couple of scuff marks( and a few tiny specks of what looks like white or silver paint, the carry case is in EXCELLENT condition! Did these few tiny specks of paint come from the silver paint used in stamping the carry case with the FISHING MACHINE TM and the St. Croix logo?
