2 Used St. Croix 4006-MH-AR 8’6” Trolling Fishing Rods Outrigger Downrigger
Both are used and both are identical. Both are Medallion models. Both have roller guides and roller tip tops. Both are two-piece rods. Both have mars. Rubs and scratches on the blanks. Both rods are missing the butt caps and one has a couple of chunks missing from the cork handles. Nothing too serious) They are very usable just the way they are. The fore grips are fine. All of the cork handles and fore grips are dirty and will clean up easily with a coarse rag and warm, soapy water. That’s up to the next owner. Butt caps and new cork handles are available on eBay and through a reputable rod repair person. I recommend to the next owner to apply some kind of lubricant to the male and female ferrules before putting them together. I did apply a touch of vegetable(cooking) oil and that did help a lot. I see nothing wrong with any of the roller ... moreguides. You can mount a conventional or a HD spinning reel onto these. A label on each says that they were made, but not limited to, Salmon, Trout and Steelhead fishing. Photos should say the rest. The markings are a little hard to read and didn't photograph well. Looks like 900. 8'6" D, L5F, UDH, DT6F, HCF, WF7F Rods in good condition with only a couple of minor scratches from normal usage. WW2 Army Metal Helmet Original Liner / Shell Belt w Canteen 1943 St. Croix G CO.
I purchased these WW2 items at an estate of an elderly Veteran who must have served in Japan as I also got some Japanese money I have listed. There is date of 1943 on the cloth cover for the canteen. I have a Metal Helmet with the Original Liner in good intact condition. The Metal Helmet is heavy and has a pebble like graining to the outside. The original chin strap is intact with the buckle closure. It has an area on the right side where it laid when stored that has some paint loss and minor surface rusting. I cleaned a lot off myself so I think most might clean. The liner is very good with its inside intact and leather strap that goes over the brim intact. It has a tiger stripe inside and these are green on the outside. There are some white rub marks on top of this. There is a mark inside the liner that looks like USA. Can't make it ... moreout well. Next is a ammo belt with a canteen holder and metal canteen marked St. Croix G. CO. 1943. This is good with buckle closure intact and all snaps work well Inside each holder is a strap with another snap closure. I think these are very good for the age. They had been stored in a building all these years and were very dusty. I cleaned them as best I could without causing any damage to the finish. There is no major damage.

Herters 6-sided bamboo & St. Croix Fly Rods with Fly Reels
For your consideration we are offering two(2) excellent conditioned fly rods. The first. And in what I can find, probably the most desirable because of the type of rod is the Herters Bamboo Fly rod. The Herters is 8'5" from butt to tip and each of the eyes is beautifully wound onto the rod in very intricate patterns. The bamboo is 6 sided(which as we understand. Is very valuable and desirable) and has excellent dark tan coloration. The rod has 3 separate pieces and they fit very well and tightly together when it is put together for fishing. We have not used the rod.it came from an estate sale.but everything about the outfit has a real quality look to it. The reel on the Herters is a Pflueger Sal-Trout#1554 which is made in the USA and it too has been really well taken care of and there is line already on it. The second fly rod that ... morewe have in this package is a 7' 7 1/2" St. Croix and those measurements again are from the butt to the rod tip. This rod too is in excellent condition.all the tips and eyes are in wonderful condition.the areas around the eyes don't show any loose threads or any bent eyes. The color is a dark tan also and it is a 2 piece rod. The reel is a Bronson Royal 360 and it too has been really well taken care of and shows very little signs of wear. It too has the line on it and also a small black fly so you'll be ready to go to the creek/river and catch those trout. St. Croix Avid 4-weight fly rod, 6'6, three-piece w/ reel and original case
I bought this rod new in 2004. To use for backpacking trips for brookies in the the mountains, but I only used it a half-dozen times before taking a job out of the area and don't have access to that kind of fishing. It's been in my closet since. Very lightly used. Sweet little rod. Good for backpacking, but can handle heftier fish if you tie into them. The rod alone was $250 new. 6'6. Three-piece St. Croix Avid, in four-weight. Comes with original case. There are a couple little nicks on the butt- see photo below. Besides that, the rod is in excellent condition. This sale includes an LL Bean Quest reel. Loaded with WF 4-weight line. I believe the line is Scientific Anglers, but it's been a few years. This lot contains a good amount of guides and tips for rod repairs/building. The longest croix blank is about 64”wild river top piece that is intact except the bottom guide needs to be replaced) There are many solid pieces that can used here but I simply do not have the time to pursue my rod building. Vintage St. Croix Promo 5' Light Action Casting Rod Good Used Condition
You are looking at a Vintage St. Croix Promo Casting Rod. This rod is 5' long. On the rod it says 0400-L. I assume the L means light action and it definitly feels like a light action rod. The handle is still made of metal with a little bit of cork, not plastic like most rods today are made. The paint on the handle is chipping off. The eyes on this rod seem like they are in great condition. This rod has a little rust and and a lot of missing paint, but this is one of the best collectors rods to own. It is a 1 piece rod.
