An used offshore angler 6'6" It's is in good condition. Silicon carbide guides. The specs are gone but I will say is a medium fast for 1/4 to 5/8 lure and 6 to 12 test line. The foam grips are in good condition and so is the reel seat. The guides wrapping are also in good condition with the first two showing a little wear. I tested them and they are holding okay. I am pretty conservative on my assessments. The sic guides by themselves are pretty expensive these days. Good luck and look at my other items. These pieces were all turned into St. Croix for warranty and were all rejected for some reason. All of these rod sections are intact and can be used to fashion rods or stripped of the components. The Guideline Reaction series was built for the overseas company Guideline by St. Croix. These sections were completed and found to have a flaw during inspection. The Guideline Reaction series included fly, switch, and Spey models and retailed from $600 to $1200. These rods sported REC Recoil snake guides and Batson ALPS stripper guides and reel seats. There are a few pieces that fit together. The 2 tip sections ... morefrom a 4 piece spey and the 3 tip pieces from a 9 foot fly rod. There is also a clean butt section that is for a 9 foot fly rod, but it does not fit the 3 matching pieces. With a little work you could fashion a spigot ferrule to fit and have a very nice rod! Up for auction is a nice lot of St. Croix SCIV Legend Tournament rod tip sections purchased directly from the St. Croix factory in Park Falls. WI. These tips were all turned into St. Croix for warranty and are all broken off of 1 piece rods. These are all the Legend Tournament rod sections.
