This rod was part of a large lot of broken. Warranty return rods purchased directly from the St. Croix factory. The rod was broken off in the butt section, and the broken butt is included with the rod. YOUR BID IS FOR THE ROD IN AS-IS CONDITION! The rod can be used in the condition it is in, but it should be repaired. When rods are turned into St. Croix for warranty, they scrap off the label to denote that the warranty has been used up. If you look at the pics you can see where the labels have been removed. If you would like a more finished look for the rod, I would be happy to add a black wrap over the removed label and write on the rod specs, as well as repair the butt section. I could do this for an additional $30.00 added to the purchase price. The bid is for the rod as is and the additional charge is not required. Only an option. Just let me know at auction end. The factory only removes the sticker from the rod, it does not effect the performance or durability of the rod. There is NO WARRANTY on this rod. This is a gently used St. Croix Legend Xtreme casting rod 6'6" medium-heavy fast action model XC66MF and a Kistler Magnesium TS 7' medium fast MGCRR70. Top of the line St. Croix and quite possibly the best rod I've ever fished with. I have a GLoomis GLX and I like the St. Croix rod better. I have three of the Xtremes and its time to part ways with one. The Kistler is a great rod for crankbaits and jerkbaits. I will ship both with a PVC pipe and with care. 2 st.croix legend tournament walleye series repaired rods. The big ones original length was 7' and the smaller rod was originally 6'3" On the big one the tip was busted off so i just put on a new tiptop where it was broken. The smaller one i just cut the rod down to were its tip fit in it and secured it with epoxy. Both of these rods function great just are a little stiffer than they were originally. It was built with foam fore and butt grips. Fuji guides and a Pac Bay reel seat. The wraps are under coated with a white thread. Guides are set with a blue and gold thread and the entire wrap is finished with blue metallic thread. There are eight line guides and tip by Fuji Concept. Has some minor condition issues. But its really a nice item. The top two pieces were held in the little nails or something, and were also glued on at some point. They came off pretty easily and will go right back on just as easily. Measures 37" highest point, 27" wide on bottom, 34" wide on top, 8.5" deep on bottom. It will be taken apart for shipping.

You are looking at a St. Croix imperial in 9ft 5wt. it is a 2 piece custom build. It is in nearly perfect condition. Only sign of wear is light soiling on the cork from the one weekend trip that I took it on 2 weeks ago. I'm also including my otto's bighorn 3/5 reel. It is used but in nearly perfect condition as well. no sign of wear. It is strung up with backing and a 5wt sage floating nymph taper line with high vis orange indicator tip. Which is also included. It comes with a hard PVC tube case for the rod and a neoprene pouch for the reel.
