St. Croix Imperial Fly Fishing Rod 9' 5 wt and Orvis Clearwater Classic Reel
I bought this rod and then got a job as an Orvis endorsed guide and had to fish only Orvis rods. So this St. Croix was used as a backup maybe two or three times. The rod is in near-mint condtion. The case is a little road weary as it's traveled a lot. The reel has seen some use, but is a sold reel with a 5 wt double taper line that still has a lot of life in it. Everything you need to go fishing but the flies! I need a saltwater rod, so my loss is your gain!

St Croix Avid AC70MF. This is an older avid which is more crisp than the newer ones and has better balancing. There is some rust trapped inside the coating on the first bottom guide and the hook keeper which is normal for these models. It doesn't affect any thing on the rod.
