A terrific 11'4" Team Daiwa surf spinning rod. This is the most convenient surf rod I have ever used. It is great for Spanish mackerel. Blues, Red Drum, stripers. It is very strong and light. An excellent rod to catch any kind of fish in the surf. The Team Daiwa-S Surf rod is 11'4" Lures 4-7 oz. 20-40 lb line. Made in Taiwan R.O.C. I used lighter lures for mackerel(sling silvers) and they cast beyond the breakers, I cast 7 oz and bait without any problem. This is just a great surf rod, most of the Team Daiwa rods are of exceptional quality including this one.

It's a great casting rod and has a lot of feel to it. Most of my fishing is with surface plugs and this rod can really sling them and then is just soft enough to get a lot of action on the return. Plenty of backbone to fight stripers and blues. Very little use maybe four or five outings. It wore a Penn 450 SS with 30 pound braid and was very well balanced. This is a STRIKER 270cm Surf Spinning Rod in good condition. This is a medium action rod that is 8.858 feet long. As you can see from the pictures the overall condition is very good. However. In the reel seat area there are some finish issues, one of the seat mounts has a slight ding in it and the butt end shows some wear and tear. That said, the rod functions very well and I have encountered no issues with mounting a variety of reels. This would make a great addition to any saltwater angler's tackle!
