Very good chance this was a one off. 14" long x 3 1/2" diameter. This auction is for a Small( 13.5"x 10"x 4” Flax Arcticreel Fishing Bag#AC-220 Made by Athalon Sportsgear in the Grand Old USA"In 1973. Athalon ® established manufacturing in Denver. Colorado. Each bag was designed and tested by Athalon ® employees. Who were avid sports enthusiasts and travelers. In order to pass our rigorous tests, each bag had to be incredibly durable and also work perfectly. The pockets had to be properly sized and placed in the ideal spot for maximum comfort and usefulness. The shoulder straps and handles had to be appropriately balanced and comfortable. Every bag had to be lightweight and water-repellent. Each stress point, whether on a handle, shoulder strap, or seam, had to be reinforced and tested to withstand rigorous use. Here is a vintage Creel called the Arcticreel. This creel is tried ... moreand true. Nothing compares to sports gear made in the USA.This item appears to be in very good used condition. It has been worn in well. Carrying strap shows no rips. Tears. Buckles look good. The main pouch has a leather backed snapping flap and on the front there is an additional zippered pouch. Pouch snap and zipper work very well. Last picture shows a 3/4" long area in the trim that seems to have been rubbed real hard. Writing on the front reads"The Arcticreel.Keep well soaked when in use. Inside the pouch is some leftover fishing stuff. A giant 3 1/2" long fish hook on a string and a couple of old fish stringers. One made from cotton rope and one made from yellow nylon cord. A packet of Specialist nylon leaders bought at Gart Brothers for 60 cents and a 100 count bag of#8 hooks bought at Fellows Tackle Shop for $8.25. Here is an old Heddon Chugger Spook surface fishing lure. It is painted Silver Scales over a clear body with Black Ribs. Length is 2 3/4" It is used but still in decent fishing condition. My auctions end on Monday and Thursday. Shipping is done the next day and payments received by about noon Mountain Time on the shipping days will be sent out th at day following auction ending.
