Vintage antique Pflueger trade mark Taxie made in USA fishing reel. This is in good shape. Has a very small bend on one edge but is hard to notice. It measures 5” wide by 1.5” deep. In order to keep its antique look and value I did not and will not clean this and the original copper wire line will not be removed. What you see is what you get! Although if wanted I am sure you can make it shine! I thinkit is a fly fishing reel but looks to have been used on a wire trolling fishing rod? Thanks and happy fishing!

This is a Vintage Meisselbach Catucci Symploreel#372 Fly Fishing Reel. Brown"Bakelite" finish. With silver nickel hardware and a dark green handle knob. The reel is in excellent working condition. It is missing one of the screws for the mounting bracket, but because of the way the reel is constructed, it still mounts firmly on a rod and doesn't wiggle. Cosmetically, it has some blemishes due to normal use, but still looks really good for a reel of this age. See the pictures) It is 3 3/8" diameter; 3/4" spool width; and weighs 5 3/4 ounces. In immaculate. Undamaged condition, this 1980s Lamson DCA-3 fly reel has only been used once in freshwater, weighs 5.9 oz and is ideal for a WF-6-F fly line. The reel is suitable for both salt and freshwater as the case and spool are made from corrosion resistant die cast aluminium. As are all internal parts. Retrieval can easily be converted from left to right hand or vice versa. This Lamson reel was manufactured as a division of Sage. The new owners. Waterworks, will presumably honour the original Lamson unconditional guarantee as per the enclosed mini owners manual. The reel comes with its original. Up for bid is one vintage PFLUEGER Nickel Plated Brass Raised Pillar Trout/Fly Reel with Clicker. Drag Control, 2:1 Geared Multiplier, and 60 yard line capacity. The Pflueger name does not appear. Identification is being made through the foot design. The reel has nickel plating over brass. The plating is in very good condition except there is some corrosion on the rear plate near the slide buttons(see Photo) The reel appears almost new. Lightly used(see photos) There is a clicker controlled by a slide button on the back plate and drag control through a second slide button on the rear plate. It is in excellent working condition. The handle appears to have a ivory colored plastic knob. It measures 1-7/8" diameter. 2-5/8" deep including the handle, and has a foot measuring 2-9/16" long by 9/16" wide. Vintage PFLUEGER SAL-TROUT #1558 5-1/2" Dia. Double Handle (Fly) Trolling Reel
Offering a great old Pflueger SAL-TROUT No 1558 trolling(fly) reel. This one has dual handles. Center drag, and comes with the metal line that is on it. It is in nice condition and works very well. I know there are Pflueger purists that really appreciate these great old reels and still use them. If that's you, this one is ready to go fishin' I tried to take pictures in varied light conditions so the description and condition will be accurate. Please take a look at these. I'm told that these reels were produced during the 1930's. 5-1/2" diameter and 3" wide, handles included.
