Vintage Hardy Bros. LTD The Perfect Fly Reel 3-3/8", with Extra Spool
This is an original made in England 3-3/8" Hardy Perfect Fly Reel. It was purchased new in the 1970-1980's and was used for a short time. It was then carefully stored in it's orginal padded Hardy case. And the extra spool stored in a protective bag. The reel appears in almost new condition, except for light rub marks visible next to the winding handle, and small scratches on the top surface of the polished aluminum reel foot, where it was attached to the fly rod's reel seat- please see photographs. The overall finish of the reel is in excellent conditon. The Agate Line Guard enclosed in the silver ring is smooth and polished with no defects. Chips or scratches. Mechanically the reel is in perfect operational condition. With no noticeable wear to any moving parts. There is no play or wobble in the spindle or spool. The Extra ... moreSpool is in almost perfect condition. The original padded zippered Hardy case is also in excellent condition with no damage. The Hardy Perfect Fly Reel remains one of the few fly reels to utilize ball bearings for spool rotation. Which accounts for its ultra smooth and steady winding action. The traditonal click pawls give this classic quality English reel it's unmistakable Hardy sound when a fish runs. The drag is fully adjustable by way of the knurled brass knob. The reel will accomodate up to a#7 line with approx 200 ft of 15 lb. dacron backing. With a#6 or#5 line it will hold 100 + yards of dacron backing. If you've always wanted a classic Hardy Perfect. Cosmetically the reel is in very good conditon with very little wear to the case. The face of the spool does show a little staining. Despite this. This is a vintage Wards Sport King Model 61. No60-6433 Fly Fishing Reel in good condition. There is still line wrapped around this reel. I don't believe the release button is working properly on this reel. The reel does wind and when you turn the nob on the front it releases the spring. Vintage DIAMOND FLY REEL - JAPAN - PLATED BRASS
This looks like the DIAMOND FLY REEL that was made in Japan. Most of the ones I have seen had a black finish. This is plated brass. There are no markings or numbers on the reel. Has the wood handle which is sloppy and spool has looseness. Click button is very light and probably due the the looseness of the spool. Has all its plating. Has found and needs a very light cleaning of old dust and dirt. A nice collectible reel.

Vintage 1907 Pflueger Superex automatic fly fishing reel
Marked with Nov 19.07 Patent, this wide spool reel is in strong operating condition. It is about 3/4 ths full with old silk line. The line does not appear to be a sticky mess as it usually is and congealed in one solid lump. I think that it very well could be cleaned and used or displayed on the reel. The condition of the reel is good/very good, it does have a dirty surface and apparently someone has attempted to clean the front. I did not attempt to clean it, it should be somewhat better after a good cleaning. These collectable reels are from my personal collection which I will be selling as time allows.This auction listing is for an unused vintage Berkley model 530 with a 2 3/8" spool diameter can be used with a 2-3 or 4 wt. fly line and backing. Hello. This is the beginning of my New Day Coming listing. I am struggling with the after affects of 25 years of a chronic hearing problem. I am selling all of my belonging that are not moving toward my goals for my new future. I am truly hoping for some help to get into grad school to study robotics to help other people with their physical issues hopefully in the area of electronic/ robotic prosthetics.
