Here is the BOX only for Ted Williams bait casting reel no.3998. It is split along the vertical seems on the label side of the top box or lid. The bottom has a split as well. Two sides of the box are stained. I don't know if it is oil or water staining. Inside the box were some instructions. A warranty card and other paperwork. I found it in a garage at an estate sale. Available is a vintage Pflueger Temco fishing reel. The reel is stamped"free spool. surf-casting" and contains the bull dog logo. The reel has the leather thumb flap and is marked with patent no. 1.450,738; 1,559,496; 1,608,287. The metal parts have a very nice vintage patina color to them and there is some very slight surface corrosion here and there on the metal parts(more on the pillars and spool than on the end pieces) The reel has a very nice and audible click when put into that mode of operation. Overall, in fairly good condition and nothing unusual or unexpected. Reel is being sold as-is with no warranty either expressed or implied.

Used Vintage Penn Senator 14/0 Fishing Reel 117 L #2
Here we have a used vintage Penn Senator 14/0 fishing reel. This is the older style with the metal spool. The reel is in overall good condition. The beauty rings are slightly rough and one has a crack in it as seen in the top of picture 4. The spool is in great shape and the crossbars are all near mint except for two that have chrome loss. It functions great and I cleaned this reel about a year ago and have never used it since. I believe I put one new bearing. A new bridge sleeve and a couple new drag washers in it. It includes the rod clamp and both harness lugs. The lugs are beat up a bit. The handle will be removed for easier shipping and the reel will be packed very securely.
