This ... morereel is sold as is THIS REEL TURNS FREELY AND THE CLICKER WORKS WELL. THE LEVEL WIND FLIPS BACK AND FORTH WELL AND IT MOVES FROM SIDE TO SIDE WELL WITH SOMETIMES HANGING UP ONE THE RIGHT SIDE JUST A BIT. I THINK IT NEEDS A MINOR ADJUSTMENT. THIS REEL IS IN NICE SHAPE FOR SOMETHING ALMOST 100 YEARS OLD BUT HAS SOME MINOR SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES THAT AN OLD USED REEL WOULD HAVE. THIS IS RARE! The Okeh reels were the A.F. Meisselbach Manufacturing Company's first attempt to produce a level wind reel. The first model came out in 1922. To get around the patent owned by Shakespeare for the loop type level wind, they produced a falling line guide. It is neat to watch as it pushes the line to the edge of the frame, and then drops it into the guide. Shipping will be in the lower 48 states. Others may email for estimated cost. Vintage Penn 66 Fishing Reel with old style Handle
A good Penn LongBeach#66 fishing reel. Very smooth action. Works very well. Reel has a fair amount of pitting on the inside bezel. The Spool is very clean. The cross bars all have some pitting. The reel includes the rod clamp on the bottom. The handle is the older"football" style. A nice reel for either a collection or full time use. There is a chip out of the left side frame at the first screw(See pic) The chip does not hurt the function of the reel.

An excellent example of a French made fishing reel for the collector. Very nice French made freshwater spinning reel imported to the USA in the 50's. Everything woks perfectly as it should and there is no rust. Corrosion, or any problems. The reel body has some wear but inside it's like brand new. The is an extra spool. Handle and spool clicker included. There should be a felt drag washer on the spindle but I will substitue with a drag washer if I don't find it. Vintage LAWRENCE No. 500 Level Winding Casting Reel Original Box EXC COND!!
Today we are offering this LAWRENCE No. 500 level winding bait casting reel. This reel is stamp marked on the bottom of the mounting stem. Lawrence No.500 Made In U.S.A. This reel is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition, the swivel handles have a marble swirl that I am assuming is bakelite along with the end caps, although I have not tested it. This reel is complete with no broken, missing, or repaired pieces. There is no rust and no sign of deterioration or excessive wear. This reel retrieves as it should both with the clicker on and off. A VERY solid reel. The original LAWRENCE No. 500 reel box is also included, the condition of the box is GOOD, no rips, tears, or holes, however the box does show significant wear on the edges and face of the box, still holding the reel VERY well.
