For auction is a Winston BIIx 908 fly rod in lightly used condition. The Winston BIIx nine foot eight weight rod will shoot a long line. And still load well in close. Its light weight makes it a pleasant casting rod for an eight weight; most casters can cast it for long periods with less fatigue. This rod was used on only two or three fishing trips. While there is surface wear and scratches on the exterior of the rod tube(see photos) The rod itself is in great condition. After a careful examination of the blank, I found one scratch, and one tiny chip(see photos) Otherwise, the blank is without defect. The cork and the reel seat are excellent too. This very unusual and unique miniature English Bulldog was purchased by me in the 1970s in Belgium. I have never seen another like it in 40 years of collecting. It is absolutely amazing at the detail in such a tiny item and has been a treasured showpiece that elicits much conversation. He is wearing the traditional spiked collar. The face on the bulldog. From a side view looks like a bulldog, but when it faces you head on it is Winston Churchill! I do not have a bloom picture of this cross so I have posted bloom pictures of Icy Icy Wind and Winston Churchill. This plant is in a 3.5" plastic pot. It has 2 growths. 1923 - WINSTON PERPETUAL LOOSE-LEAF ATLAS OF THE WORLD
This auction is for a 1923 John C. Winston Company Atlas in an"Invisible Loose Leaf Binder" The atlas is composed of"New Maps of Europe. Canada and its Provinces, the United Sates and its Territories and Insular Possessions, and New Maps of the Whole World with Boundaries as Established by the Treaties of Peace Following the World War. It also includes populations according to the latest official census and a descriptive narrative of the world, its countries and peoples, with illustrations. It's fun to see how the world has changed: check out the map of Siam-Burma- French Indo China, the Chinese and Siberian Map, or Australasia and Melanesia. The cover is in poor condition. As it has come loose from the binding and has spots on it, and the metal connectors are not holding the maps in tight. The maps themselves are in mostly ... moregood condition, with only light browning from age and could easily be framed. A few of the pages have edges that have small tears and the inside covers and facing pages are wrinkled. I generally ship no later than the day after I receive payment via U.S. Mail. 1972 Winston Salem Cigarette Promotional Puzzle. Shows a tranquil"Pajama Sunday" morning relaxing and smoking Winston cigarettes. This puzzle comes complete with reorder form that was included in the box. You have to certify that you are 21 years of age or over. Box is all there-a little rumpled. Reorder form shows aging. See pics. The box shows the address where the puzzle was shipped from out of Boston. Mass. Shipped to address in the 60609 area code of Illinois. Did not do the puzzle to see if all the pieces are there. I don't think that's the point. This is cool retro stuff from the 70's! I do ship internationally for a flat fee of 29.99.

1995 Select Trading Co. Brass Zippo Lighter Description and Condition: Up for auction the lighter listed above. I do not think there has ever been fuel in it because the packing is clean and free from odor. But it may have been cleaned in the past. It was in my grandfather's dresser for a few decades, but it was well after he quit smoking. It looks great. There is a slight shadow around the medallion, but I think that is because it is brass and it has patina-ed over time. It could probably stand another cleaning. It has its original packaging, including the two inserts and velvet style liner. This would make a great gift for any Zippo collector. The box also has some limited wear on it, from sliding around the drawer probably. Refer to the pictures I posted.
