They were stamped RENTAL on the inside when I bought them at the Denver Flyfishing Show. They may have been factory seconds. These were purchased in the 90's for a Winter Steelhead Float trip on the Salmon River. And were used that weekend only. Summer Steelhead only after that, way too cold in February for me, these have sat for years and its time they go. These have the removable insulation booties inside the boots, Size 12. I had Simms replace the gravel guards and booties last year- I ripped one of the gravel guards and it was the best solution for waders that have lots of life left in them. The only leak I ever had was due to a fall I took in the river. The upper left thigh sustained an abrasion on a pointed rock. Per Simms. I repaired the spot with AquaSeal on the inside and outside- please see the pictures of the area. I asked Simms to look at the repair when they replaced the booties and gravel guards and it passed their inspection. The waders do not leak at all.
