I had Simms replace the gravel guards and booties last year- I ripped one of the gravel guards and it was the best solution for waders that have lots of life left in them. The only leak I ever had was due to a fall I took in the river. The upper left thigh sustained an abrasion on a pointed rock. Per Simms. I repaired the spot with AquaSeal on the inside and outside- please see the pictures of the area.
