TYCOON TACKLE MIAMI H.R.H Custom Built saltwater rod VINTAGE
Up for auction please consider my offering of a TYCOON TACKLE model H.R.H custom built saltwater fishing rod. I am not sure of this particular rods age. But this rod can be found in the Tycoon Tackle 1938 catalog, and I have included a screen shot of that particular page, wherein the construction of this is described in much better fashion than I can. This rod sold for 75 dollars in 1938, which by todays standards would be over $1299. So, it's no surprise to learn that the world famous fishing gear made by Tycoon Tackle was the pride and joy of folks like Ernest Hemingway, presidents, and royalty. Tycoon Tackle is still in business and has an interesting website including some history about their gear. The rod is 81 inches long. The trademark decal is 90% intact, all guide stands are securely in place, but unfortunately two of the guide ... morerings are gone from their stands. I tried to take an overall photo, and several detailed photos starting from the rod tip working my way down to the notched butt which I believe is meant to be inserted in a worn harness for deep sea fishing. If you are interested I can provide more pictures by email if any I have posted here need clarification or are difficult to view. I would also be glad to answer any questions, but please understand that I know little about serious salt water fishing. This rod was found among some of my father's belongings and it's history is a mystery. Note: I have noticed that when using a tablet or mobile device. MINNKOTA ENGINE MOUNT TROLLING MOTOR Saltwater SW/RT55EM 2 HOURS AT MOST
I have a Minnkota Engine Mount trolling motor that is almost brand new. This motor has no more than 2 hours runtime and looks perfect. I ordered the motor last year and mounted it onto my main Honda engine. The specs say that you must have at least 13 inches from cavitation plate to the waterline. Which I had, exactly. I have found that this is a minimum spec, and only true if you are standing near the stern. Anyway on my short shaft engine, I found that it cavitates and that is why I am selling it. I have all the necessary parts included, along with the instruction, owner manual. This motor came with a 2 year factory warranty which may still be in effect if transferrable. Pair of SHIMANO TLD 15 Lever Drag Conventional Reels I am selling these two TLD 15s as a pair. Both are in great working order as they were last serviced in March 2012. And I didn't get much use out of them in the 2012 season. Drags are still smooth, and aesthetically they still look good, but show normal wear such as minor scratches. These are spooled with 65# red Power Pro for backing up to about 1/3 of the spool(about 200 yards) then packed full with 30# smoke blue Jinkai line I added to is towards the end of last 2012 season, so it is still in good shape. I mostly used these reels for striper, black drum, and some inshore trolling for small tunas and mahi. I will only ship to the US and I am setting the shipping to be FREE for this pair of reels.
