105 Saltwater Nassarius Snails Extremely Hardy You will receive 105 saltwater nassarius snails. These snails are reef and coral safe. These snails are farm raised in my aquaculture facility. The are already adapted to aquarium life. The nassarius(Ilyanassarius Obsoleta) snail is a small scavenger with an oval shell. Having a long snout-like tube that protudes from one end of their shell. This snail is an ideal scavenger and detritus consumer. They do not bother corals in the reef aquarium. They spend some of their time buried in the sand, stirring the sand slightly therefore adding oxygen to the sand. They readily consume detritus, uneaten fish food, decaying organics and fish& invertebrate waste. Unlike some snails, these are effective for the control and elimination of Cyanobacteria. They are already adapted to aquarium life. They are not wild caught. These snails are reef and coral safe. The periwinkle snail is a small snail with a thick shell. It has a slightly pointed shell with spiral grooves. Usually grayish-white in color. They feed on algae which they scrape off with their radulas(there radulas consist of up to 300 rows of teeth) They also feed on bacteria and plant detritus. They are extremely hardy, being able to survive long periods out of the water. They can also survive extremely cold and hot temperatures. Aqua Logic 3/4 Hp Reef Aquarium Saltwater Chiller Tank
This is a 3/4 HP chiller I planned to use but realized it was way to big for me. It is a 220 volt chiller with a ranco controller. I just had it serviced. Freon levels topped(134a) and tested for leaks. I ran it with a 20 gallon tank half way filled and set the temperature to 38 degrees. It reached it in 35 mins with an outside temperature of 90 degrees. At that point when the thermostat would reach 39 it would cycle on for 45 secs and bring it down to 38. I do not have any shipping setup but can work with someone who wants it shipped. Also if anyone is nearby I can also help by driving part of the distance for a small fee.
