Definitely not mint, but works fine, everything seems to work as it should. The side plates are in good condition with no cracks. There are some scuffs/scratches on the bottom of the side plates, and minor wear here and there, used not abused. There is some corrosion/pitting to the spool, which is typical, I have not tried to clean. It measures 3 1/8" in diameter, and is 2 5/8" across top side plates. The chrome of the spool is a gold. But does sport some scratches. The foot has Japan on it. The id stickers are attached to both sides of the reel body. The BG15 has a gear ratio of 5.1:1 and a line capacity of 6/400. 8/270, 10/190, 12/150, 14/120. The handle is the foldable kind where you back the handle up against the anti reverse and loosen it until you can fold it towards the body of the reel. LIttle-seen South Bend large saltwater reels, #825 and #825model A
Thses trolling reels represent a short-lived South Bend attempt at the blue water market. You rarely see one of these let along both models of the 825 Perfectoreno series. The 825 shows spool wear. But there are no cracks in the marroon bakelite, and both reels are functionable. Neither have been cleaned, and at least on handle know needs oil, but the reels have freespools, clicks and star drags. Model A represents a switch to a two screw quick take-down seen on the tail plate. The reels are heavy- flat $10.00 s/h(even though I will probably be assessed more than that.
