Es war der Herbst 2012. Als ich mich, bei vergangenen Spaziergängen und Wanderungen oftmals durchnässt, dazu entschied, mir jetzt endlich mal ne wirklich wasserdichte Jacke" zuzulegen. Ich durchforstete also das Internet nach Membranjacken, las über Vor- und Nachteile und landete bei Patagonia. Dort fand ich die RIVER SALT Jacke, eigentlich für Fliegenfischer entwickelt, aus 4(in Worten: VIER-lagigem Material, das ansonsten für Wathosen verwendet wird. Mit Wathosen steht man im Fluss. Dachte ich. Wie soll da noch Wasser reinkommen, dachte ich. Und klickte auf"kaufen" Bevor ich hier anfange. Einen vom Pferd zu erzählen: Die Jacke ist wasserdicht. Und zwar im eigentlichen Sinn des Wortes. Es kommt nichts rein. Alle Reißverschlüsse sind speziell laminiert, der Haupt-RV ist ein sogenannter"RiRi-AquaZip, ... moreder nichts durchlässt. Die Jacke hat die Herrengröße M. Auf dem letzten Foto bin ich in der Jacke zu sehen. Ich bin 174cm groß und wog zu dem Zeitpunkt etwa 84kg. Sie ist also recht weit geschnitten. Damit noch ordentlich Isolierung drunter passt. Noch ein paar Features: Drei Fronttaschen auf der Brust mit viel Stauraum(hier sollen ganze Fliegendosen reinpassen) Dahinter Handwärmtaschen in Brusthöhe. Innen mit Microfleece bezogen. Sturmkapuze mit Öffnung hinten verbindet. Dass beim Bootfahren etc. der Wind die Kapuze absetzt. Innen Netztasche mit Ablauflöchern. Verstellbarer Bundzug, feststellbare Halterung für die Angelrute. Der Oberclou: Armbündchen sind aus einem gummierten Material. So dass kein Wasser an den Handgelenken eindringen kann. Wer die Jacke sucht. Wird sowieso wissen, was sie kann. Hiermit kann einem im Regen oder Sturm wirklich gar nichts mehr passieren. Cabela Gore-Tex Outdoor Gear Jacket, Bibs, and Carrying Case
These belong to my husband. He had to give up fishing because of his heart. He says he only wore the jacket once out on his boat and was glad to have it during the storm that came up. He never took the case out on the boat. He just stowed the gear in a cubby. They were made for Cabela by Gore-Tex Outwear. The jacket is a Medium Regular and the bib pants are a Medium Short. My husband is 5' 6" They are clean and in excellent condition. They will have to ship in an oversize box for a fixed price because of the rigid plastic bottom on the carrying case. Simms Gore-Tex G4 Pro Guide jacket size XL. Used. But it really nice condition. I used this jacket for a couple of weeks in BC in 2012. Really the only flaws in the jacket are 2 small puncture holes(from a misplaced cast here and there) which have been professionally repaired(and tested) by Simms. I've detailed this in the last 4 photo's of the listing. You can see the puncture on the exterior of the fabric, and also the interior Gore repair patch on the inside for each of the 2 imperfections. Other than that, the jacket is pretty damn perfect. Super-fresh, and HARD TO FIND Sea Kelp/Gunmetal color way. If you're looking for a perfect G4 Pro rain jacket this is not your jacket.
