The jacket has two chest button pocket's and two side pocket's with two inner pocket's. The jacket itself is in very nice condition just has some kind of stain on the right sleeve and also around the collar. Other than that the coat is in good condition with no hole's or rip's on it. I have had this jacket since the early 90's and around 2005 I put the North American Fishing Patch on it. But that is the best description I could come up with. Beautiful color. May not ever see this color again. I hate to sell this and I'm having second thoughts about posting it, but I need the money for a new hobby. I purchased this online from Patagonia in 2003. I've used if for fly fishing. Skiing, and just casual wear. The nice color doesn't make it look like a fishing jacket. I've actually received complements on it just wearing it out. It is perfect for layer wear, wearing a Patagonia fleece or t-shirt underneath. The front has 3 zipper pockets with green climbing rope on the zipper pulls and two hand pockets just behind the zipper pockets. The two ... morelarge zipper pockets can hold a lot, like a fly box and then some. I've stored gloves and all kinds of stuff in the including my phone. With this jacket you don't need to wear a fishing vest. The hood rolls down and snaps tucked. Both the hood and waist can cinch down. While the jacket is used it is still in great shape and is very durable. This jacket was made before they started adding D rings on the back. Another thing I really like about this jacket is that it has the trademark Patagonia patch on the front chest instead of the new Patagonia fly fishing logo. Can't get them like this any longer.
