These darker sideplates really lool super especially against the bright chrome of the cage. This classic Swedish Ambassadeur has been used but not abused. Showing some marks consistent with a fishing reel that is 39 years old, but with just a bit of rash to the top of the reel and the bottom it is in overall good condition and internally excellent. The reel shows the early ball type levelwind guide and non locking plate type single counter balance handle. The reel comes with black case, instruction catalogue and 1972 schematic. We think one is left handed. Handle is on the opposite side. We do not know if you can put the handle on either side. The 862 is in great little used condition. Paint is clean and very little sign of wear. The 564 is older and the paint on the spool is faded dull and the reel has scratches in the paint. It is missing a cap over the handle end.
