This reel is about 70 years old and never seen the ocean! Its a USA made Ocean City no 1581 level wind baitcasting reel which is complete with the Cork Arbor which is part number ca-1 and cost 10 cents as a spare part back then Yes it has the original parts list as well that also includes the prices which has small water stains and very minor tears. Also included is parts list for the 1600[model A] reel but this has a 2&1/2" tear on it.Also is a pamphlet on Heddon"pal" reels and lures. The box is worn and has stains but works well.The reel works like new because thats what it is brand new although showing very minor rust as these were cadium plated. A nice thing to look at.

Daiwa PX68 L SPR Baitcasting Reel
Up for sale is a Daiwa Liberty Pixy PX68L SPR. It shows some minor boat rash. But works like new. The spool has a small dent on one lip, but this doesnt affect casting performance at all. The reel was cleaned and serviced and is ready to fish! The line on the spool was removed. Because i couldnt tell the brand or type anymore. Daiwa Japan made this reel with small plug-type lures in mind. Hence the name SMALL PLUG REVOLUTION. With the right rod and light line(like 4lb nylon) you can easily cast lures as light as 2g, thats appox 3/32oz! BASS Outdoor America Baitcasting Reel
I'm not sure who made this reel. Bit it was branded for BASS. My guess would be Shakespeare, but I'm not sure. It doesn't have the gear ratio on it anywhere, but just from using it I would say it's 5.4:1 or something close. It does have a flipping switch, 5 ball bearings and a magnetic brake control. It is used and it needs a new line guide, otherwise it is in very nice condition, almost no scratches and none of the lettering is worn off, it appears to have been used very little, it needs a new line guide because the ceramic insert that is normally glued in it is missing, the reel can not be used without it because the line guide is plastic and without the insert the line will cut into the plastic, if you have extra parts you can fix it, that is the only problem I found with the reel.
