You are bidding on a vintage South Bend model 310 bamboo fishing rod and metal close-faced fishing reel combo. I haven't been able to find this particular rod and reel online so I can't date it. The pole is 3 ft 8 inches. The guides are metal. As are all of the parts comprising the reel mounth and the reel(with the exception of one small plastic part) The handle is cork with a rubber or plastic bottom. The reel is a bit stiff but it does cast and reel in just fine. Great vintage fishing pole! Please check out the pics! This Rod is 5'6" long and very old. I have had it for over twenty years as a wall display. I have tried to find the make. But no luck. It is a two piece bamboo construction. The reel has no markings on it to determine the manufacturer, however it is newer than the rod. This would provide someone else with a wall piece as it has for me. Need to rid ourselves of things, so this piece is a must go. This is not a business. Up for bid is a very clean. Older Horrocks-Ibbotson Utica No. 7 Automatic fly reel in the original box. This reel appears to be very good condition, been used very sparingly and is in a bright blue finish. Reel comes in the original box with the literature. This reel functions very well and has a strong winding spring. The spool does not contain fly line. The foot is in excellent uncut condition and marked NO. 7 UTK. The box is pretty worn and has a couple of torn seams. Both the reel and box are in the condition shown.

Motor shows some rust, no plug(wires straight to battery) Rod has all rollerguides, but hasn't been fished in 3 years so the rollers might need some oil. Diezel DZ-80 Okuma fishing rod & reel
Up for NO RESERVE auction is this Diezel DZ-80 Okuma rod and reel. This is used and has some scuffs and scrapes but it works like new and has been well taken care of. I used this for deep water fishing in the Mississippi river I was fishing for the big 100 pound catfish which I never caught but I did pull in an 70 pound spoon bill. This rod& reel had no issues at all and would work great for the bigger fish in the ocean. This is no light tackle rod at ten feet long I used a quarter pound sinker while fishing the Big Muddy and I am sure it will handle snapper. Tuna, or grouper with no issues. This would make a great gift for the angler that fishes fresh or salt water and because this is a NO RESERVE auction it's a great way to save money.
