This listing is for a vintage Heddon one-piece fishing rod. It is used/pre-owned. It is clearly marked" HEDDON" I see no model number or year indicated. I am not a fishing enthusiast or collector. I am describing this item the best I can from what I see. The shaft of the rod appears to be made of graphite. The handle, both before and just after the reel area, feels like cork to me. I see a couple splits to the cork positioned in front of the reel area but there is no cork actually missing anywhere. The integrity of the rod still appears to be fine. This rod measures nearly 61 inches from tip to handle bottom. The winner must supply their own reel, fishing line, bobbers, weights, hooks, ... morelures, etc. This rod saw typical use in its day. There is wear to the factory brown paint at the reel area on both the top and bottom. The cork areas of the pole look to be in fair condition overall while the shaft is in very good condition. TERMS OF SALE: Illinois residents must pay the 6.25% IL State Use Tax which goes to the state. Not into my pocket.
