Cortland all graphite GRF-1000. This rod is as smooth and accurate as ANY rod I have ever had my hands on. It is a slow action that would be closest to the Superfine by Orvis or the G series by Scott but in my opinion. Smoother and better casting than either one of them. This is a 6/7 weight rod. The rod comes complete with an Okuma integrity 1 7/8 reel with line. It also comes and an Okuma fly six compartment fly box with spring loaded glass lids on each compartment. This rod is rated for 15-30 lb line and 3/4- 2 oz weight The other is an Okuma Celilo Extra Heavy duty 9' casting rod(rated at 20-40 lb line and 1-5 oz weight. Condition is good on both rods. Each has been used trolling for Salmon on the West Coast. Each is 100% original with no repairs anywhere. Each rod has light soiling on the cork handles from use. Original owner. Complete 4-axis. Excellent machine. Ready-to-work. We are the original owners of this 4VA. It isn’t offered by a dealer who has no history on the use or condition. It has not received a cosmetic coat of paint. It has not been used in a 24-7 production facility. The machine is under power. You can come look at the mill, talk to the people who ran it, and ask any questions. We will even give you a short course in the operation, if you need that. This machine has been in our shop since purchased new in 1984. It is fully operational but was moved aside for a new Okuma machining center. We purchased the new Okuma for its increased memory and 15.000 rpm spindle speed. We still have two more MC-4VA’s running today. It had every option available from Okuma, including complete math and trig function progamming capability. It has helical ... moremilling capability, a tape reader and serial communication. It’s slow to wake up, but it’s been that way for 15 years. The fourth-axis is an oversize Tsudakoma rotary table normally supplied on the 5VA machines. The table can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal axis. And was rebuilt by Okuma in 2009. The rotary table is fully programmable, not just an indexing table. The fourth axis can be programmed to have all 4 axes moving simultaneously. All service work on this machine has been done by Okuma(Morris South) And service records are with the mill.
