Clarus rods are newly designed. With a lighter and more sensitive blank and Shimano Custom Reel Seats. They feature IM-8 Graphite construction and Fuji aluminum oxide guides. This rod is 5'6" it's an ultra light with a medium fast action. Recommended line weight is 2-6 pound. The rod is in good condition. I used it 3 times before deciding to get the 6 foot version.
