The giver was unaware that I had had several strokes and as a result. After I unwrapped it I put it in a corner in the garage and kind of forgot about it. Last week, during a routine cleaning session we came across a bunch of fishing stuff and decided to get rid much of what I'll probably never get to use agaiin. This is a nice little rod with no marks nor scratches. It has 4 guides plus the tip and all are intact and none are bent. The ferrule still fits tight as it was designed. The rod is 6' in length rated for 8-20# line and has a lure rating of 1/4 to 7/8 oz. The rod will ship broken down in a PVC tube. The Exage STC spinning rods comes in 3 different versions this is the smallest of the three Exage models. But is my favorite of the three, but is is a medium/fast action rod. The Exage rods were designed for the angler to be ready for any type of situation the rod has an extremely strong backbone, and can REALLY lay the slam on a fish. It can also be adjusted from a 5 piece 7'6ft rod to a six piece 8ft rod. The rod has never been used, and it has no signs of wear.
