Vtg. Never Used Nice Actionrod Model #6700 Telescopic Spinning Fishing Rod 6’10”
It’s in new condition and there’s no doubt that it’s never been used. It still has it’s original clear plastic sock. It has a cork handle and fore grip with a metal reel mount and a hook keeper. When extended. It measures 6 ft. 10 inches. When retracted, it measures 28 inches. Although it’s very collectable, it’s perfect for portaging, backpacking, transporting and storing. It appears to be made of fiberglass. Also perfect for tucking it under the seat of a pick-up or car. I’m quite sure that it was made by Orchard Industries of Detroit, Michigan. St. Croix 1976 Vintage Expandable/Telescopic Fishing Rod Pole & Reel, for repair
I don't know much about fishing rods/reels- there is no line on this and I have not personally used this. Being sold as is and untested. The handle turns one way and it moves fairly easily. But not freely or smoothly. The pole extends easily and seems to hold in place. There is something inside that rattles when it is moved. And the button for the range finder is missing. Kind of an Amber dark orange look. all agate is in good shape. Just the very last guide has a few marks from line usage. has thick metal on the guides as well. There a a few small marks and the cork handle has been'handled' but it is in near spotless condition and might never have seen use. The rod is 2.1 mtrs long. Has an'A- 15' action. I have had this at least 15 years. Uncle found at garage sale. Not been used by me. Stored indoors since purchase. Grip seems to me rubber of some sort. Some small cracks but solid and no slippage. Metal shafts are intact and sturdy, telescopes easily, straight. Paint in good condition, some scuff marks.
