There is a monogram of EWN on one of the panels. The base is marked with what appears to be MHF inside a diamond inside a shield with the initials N.S. I bought this at an estate sale over 30 years ago where I was told that it was a designer piece. This bowl really is absolutely gorgeous and in beautiful condition! all hand done scenic oil painting with hand carved wood blue jay birds on a wired covered branch that goes through the bowl and fastenes on back with a simple nail there is a metal ring on the back to hang on the wall but estate had it on a stand in corner cabinet great look. the bowl is 11 inch across and about 10 high just slightly out of round it is 3 1/2 inch deep. not split or cracked I believe the bowl is a light figured maple. This Beautiful Cut Glass Fruit Bowl was found in an Estate in New Port Beach. Ca. The Precious Cut Glass Bowls Condition appears to be Very Good for its age. Other than a couple of nicks and some ware shown on the bottom side and on the inside of the 7/16 x 4 1/2 x 11 3/4 this precious Decorative Cut Glass Bowl. The bowl is in great display condition. I was not able to find a marking on the bowl but again I was not sure where to look or what to look for. I researched patterns on-line but was unable to identify the pattern with 100% certainty so I can not authenticate that this piece is an antique and is why I am just calling it vintage.
