This knife is used, but it has been well maintained. The wooden handle is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The hollow ground blade is straight. But it does show signs of sharpening. The knife slides easily into the sheath. The sheath is in good shape with no significant staining or water damage. There is a cut in the sheath where the knife was pushed through. After a light cleaning. I applied a light coat of oil to help rejuvenate and protect the handle. I have done my best to show the condition of this item. Vintage Signed J. Marttiini Rapala Fillet Fishing Knife 7 3/4" Leather Sheath
Vintage Signed J. Marttiini Rapala Fillet Fishing Knife 7 3/4" with Leather Sheath- Finland. The blade on this knife is approximately 4" long. It has J. Marttiini Finland on one side of the blade. The other side of the blade is blank. It says- Rapala on the handle and the leather sheath with the trademark. There is also a letter M with a circle around it above the Rapala on the sheath. The knife may need a good cleaning. There are scratches on the blade where it has been sharpened. The handle is in good shape. There is some slight discoloration on the end. The sheath is in good shape with minor scuffs. The belt loop is attached. The knife locks in securely into the sheath.
