The yelow bobbers have the happy faces on them. There is a spool with 4 pound line. Split shot style sinkers in 4 different sizes are in the round red container. Vintage Wicker Leathered SW BRAND Fishing Creel Basket With Seat Fishing Gear
You are bidding on the exact vintage fishing creel shown in the auction photo's. I just acquired this very nice vintage fishing creel with leather shoulder strap that I found at an estate sale in East Tennessee. The tightlywoven wicker wood is in excellent used condition on all sides. You can see from the photo showing the back of the creel that there is one broken piece of wicker about an inch long. Some of the wood strips have been colored black& reddish mauve to make a very decorative design on the front with two narrow colored bands going around all sides. The creel has four wood legs that are approx. 1 3/4" tall. The thick padded top is covered with red vinyl/leather& tacked down on all sides with metal brads. A small chain is attached to one side to keep the lid from going all the way back when open.
