VINTAGE VICTROLA MOTOR FISHING REEL BOX, HAND LINE/WIRE LINE DOWNRIGGER TROLLING
This is a vintage wind up Victrola record player spring motor that was used to power a hand lining boat fishing reel. This one is well made from wood and has metal hardware on all corners with working latches. Hinges, handle, circular crank handle plate and grommet for the line to leave the box. It measures 101/2 X 14 1/2 inches and is 8 1/2 inches high and weights approx. 18 lbs. The reel spins with a turn of the crank and has a single piece of braided copper wire and a swivel still remaining on it from back in the day. This is a very cool old reel with great patina and a two compartment removable tray and crank handle. The box itself is well made but does show wear on the lower back and bottom of the box(see pictures) but still structurally sound, more than likely from sitting in a boat full of fish! I chose not to clean, wax, stain or ... morepolyurethane the box to leave it the way it was although I think it would look great with a wood wax applied. I also found the date or Aug 4 1945 and a larger number 163 on the board that holds the motor to the box but that’s it for any other markings. I can tell you for sure my grandfather used one like this during that time frame in the Detroit River fishing for walleyes with great success. I have a Minnkota Engine Mount trolling motor that is almost brand new. This motor has no more than 2 hours runtime and looks perfect. I ordered the motor last year and mounted it onto my main Honda engine. The specs say that you must have at least 13 inches from cavitation plate to the waterline. Which I had, exactly. I have found that this is a minimum spec, and only true if you are standing near the stern. Anyway on my short shaft engine, I found that it cavitates and that is why I am selling it. I have all the necessary parts included, along with the instruction, owner manual. This motor came with a 2 year factory warranty which may still be in effect if transferrable. Lowrance Structure Scan LSS-1 with "Trolling Motor" mount transducer
Gently used Lowrance Structure Scan LSS-1. This has the transducer mounted to the trolling motor cradle so you can mount it snug to the bottom of your trolling motor. This mount cost $45 when I bought it last year. If you want this to fit on transom you'll need to buy the cradle from Lowrance for that. Also comes with the hose clamps to snug to motor. The transducer is in GREAT shape. No dings or gouges and just the hint of light scuffs in couple of spots. Works like new. The only thing not in new condition is the end of one of the cables that mounts to the scan box- BUT it tightens up and secures just fine. The plastic housing on the end of the cable is in rough shape- the end pins, connector, nut piece works as it should. Props are good. Has New boat cover, trailer jack(folds up and cranks up/down) marine lights, seat hinges and paint. Also comes with two oars, gas tank, and ill even throw in a trolling motor battery.
