2 Penn SENATOR 12/0 Model 116 Fishing Reels
Up for auction is a pair of used Penn SENATOR 116 12/0 Fishing Reels. These reels are in good cosmetic shape and appear to work correctly. They have been in storage for many years. But were serviced before they were put away. Everything moves smoothly on them and there is no hesitation in the retrieve. There is light corrosion as would be expected, but they both are pretty clean. The rod support bracket on one of them is broken as can be seen in the pictures, and the adjusters on the rod support brackets are a little tight and need lubrication. Also, one of the handle attachment screws for some reason won't screw all the way in and a washer is in place to secure the handle. Please see pictures for close-ups of condition. Pair of Choice Condition PENN Senator 14/0 Fishing Trolling Reels
For sale here is a pair of choice condition. PENN SENATOR 14/0 star drag, deep sea trolling reels and they are complete with both rod brace assemblies, rod clamps and retaining nuts. The handles are the much-sought-after-by-collectors wood color and the spools are the preferred chrome-plated brass. The 14/0 is also known as PENN's Model 117. It is designed to bring in the largest of game fish and carries 750 yards of 130 lb. test monofilament line and of course a much larger amount of modern Spectra or Braid. It has a gear ratio of 1.6 to 1. Cosmetics are excellent and so is performance. The drags work perfectly well and the clickers are so loud, they could awaken Ted Williams. The 14/0 has been a great workhouse of a reel for over 70 years and these two have been sisters for along time. I will not separate them. These reels are fully ... morespooled and have a top shot of thick. Leader-like monofilament that appears in great shape. Because of the difficulty of removing all of that line, I cannot express an opinion on the condition of the underlying spools other than to say there is no evidence of any problem. The black bakelite side plates are still shiny, a good indication of little exposure to sun or sea. Boat rash is almost nonexistant. The ratchet does not work- the reel has line on it and it turns over smoothly and the other knob on the back seems to work as a brake. This is an assortment of used reels and spools. All are small fly reels suitable for 2-5wt lines. I have an Elite Fly Reel with 6 spools. One spool has a 2wt. One has a 3wt, and one has a 4wt line. Lines have very little use. The other spools come with backing. I have two Battenkill spools with lines and one reel cover. I do not have the reel or know the model number. They are several years old. I also have a Scientific Angler System 2 67-L with 6wt sink tip line. Total weight is 3-4 lbs.

Descriptions and pricing on 6 different Garcia fishing reels. There is also an advertisement for Garcia Fishing Annul magazine and Du Pont fishing line. It is not dated but the coloring and style looks like the 1950s or possibley the late 1940s. Further reserch on the reels decribed could determine the age of the advertisement. Pair of Riviera Downrigger Fishing Reels w 150 ft. steel line & depth counters
Pair of Riviera Downrigger fishing reels with 150 feet of steel line on each and working depth counters. Aluminum frame. Surface mount or recess mount. 5 foot 8 inch" outbar with 9.5" spool. Nice used condition with one having one corner of the crank lock broken but this is not what stops the handle. It is just a thing to flip it up with your thumb. The other side is still there and easy to use. The t-locks for the spools are both working great. I have to take the long outbars out to ship and ship them separate or the package would be too large to ship so I will send you an invoice with actual shipping rate at end of the auction. The weight it is calculating now is for the downriggers only and I would guess you will need to add $12-14 more dollars for the poles shipping when it is all said and done. 2 Vintage Fly Fishing Reels Martin & Pflueger + 50 Flies
Direct from My Grandfather's ancient tackle box here is a very nice assortment of Fly fishing flies and 2 reels. There are right around 50 flies. Now. I don't know anything about the diferent kinds of flies, or if he made these himself or bought them, but they're all tiny and different. They come in an old small film cannister. You also get 2 reels. They both have line in them, but I can't vouch for if they work or not, though I don't think he would have kept them if they didn't work. The blue one is a Martin, automatic Mohawk 8A, the slightly rusty metal colored one is a Pflueger( No. 775 with a bulldog ingrained on it.
