be sure and check out my other surfing items too. i have a bunch of vintage surfboards for sale too. so what do we have here? well this is a stunningly gorgeous 9'8 hobie surfboard in really nice condition. 100% all original too.great color and craftsmanship with a beautiful wood fin. here are my thoughts and what i know about this board. not sure if this board was ever surfed. the board came out of portland oregon and i believe it came from jantzen. jantzen was a maker of swimwear i think from the 1920s to now so they have been in business for a long time. jantzen ran a bunch of ads in surfer magazine in the mid 60s for there company and used sports personalities like ricky grigg and corky carroll to help promote there line. this board is one of thoughs boards they had made to promote there line. now it is possible that this board might ... morehave been used by ricky grigg or corky carroll or that that board may have been used in one of the surfer magazine ads but i do not know for sure. if you look at the pictures and what gives this board away as a jantzen board is the logo up by the nose. a diving girl was used for the logo. you can find this on there web page too.one other thing is the board colors were most likely influenced by the endless summer film and the hobie boards that were used in that movie. a rare board and worthy to be in a museum because of the historical significance. used board sold as is. this board was just used on stage in the beach boys concert. over 30 vintage boards for sale. i will ship world wide and buyer to pay all shipping and packing costs. Nice Oregon City Woolen Mills Native American trade blanket. Good pattern in southwestern colors of brown. Tan, mint, lilac and mustard. It's one of those classic, and uniquely beautiful patterns that this company was know for producing. Maybe as early as 1915 but could have been produced as late as 1929. Condition for a blanket this old is great with only minor edge ware, a few repairs, a cut or two and two small holes that do go through. I photographed the worst condition issues. These are becoming harder to find so don't pass this one up. you'll probably never see it again!

Oregon Myrtle wood bowls
These beautiful Myrtle wood bowls were crafted in Bandon. OR. The smaller is approximately 3 1/4 inches high, with a diameter of 6 in. The larger bowl is approximately 2 1/2 inches high, with a 7 1/2 inch diameter. There is some faint writing on the bottom of the bowls(which was done in sharpie marker) but I have been able to get most of it off. Both bowls are in very good condition, with just a few small scratches in the finish. Beautiful bowls.

These are 2 rare Custom-made View-Master Reels: 1982 Rose Court" Portland Oregon. The home of View-Master, is known as the"City of Roses" and since 1907 has held the Rose Festival, which today attracts several million people. There are 14 pretty young women chosen from Portland area high schools. One is to be chosen Rose Queen. From 1973 to 1985 the GAF View-Master Company produced a set of reels commemorating this pageant. There are scenes of the pretty young girls touring the plant and pictures were taken with the girls posing in group settings but also along side View-Master personnel and executives. A highlight of the tour was when the girls were invited back for a luncheon and were presented a set of their own pictures in 3-D on View-Master reels with a View-Master viewer. Why did View-Master make these reels?
