They are in excellent condition. And I don’t think they have ever been used. One of them has an insert. Apparently to take up space so not so much line is needed. That is only a guess on my part. It is made of cork. Is in two pieces and is labeled 2.00 m-0, 25 as near as I can tell. The photo shows the actual item clearly. They measure 2 ¼ and 2 ½ inches. Respectively, across the base. First Edition paperback. 3rd ed. printed 2001. A very good reference for old reel prices. Don't know if there are further editions. Please be aware that this book has been owned by an avid fly tyer and cigar smoker. And the books are stored where the cigars are smoked. So keep that in mind as you bid. My friends who borrow books say that the smell wears off in about a week. And you can read them in comfort at that time. They usually read them in dis-comfort before then. The grading is severe, I would rather you be surprised that the book is higher quality than you expected, than reverse. All are used books- I bought them to use. Not abuse, but to use.

Vintage fishing 2 reels Zebco Empire box new knife +wood ruler lure weights tin
Please forgive me in advance if I don't sound as if I know too much about vintage fishing. But I'm a 59 year old female. I recently went to an estate sale- no men were even there, and I KNOW old fishing gear is collectable, so here we go: there are 2 reels, one looks older, an Empire brand, black and it appears to have some heavy duty gears(see photo#3) turns and clicks VERY healthy-sounding, no broken plastic anywhere. Next is a Zebco reel, model#3040, still has fishing line and a large(rusty) hook attached. It also states: Internal Bsil trip with manual option fast 4:1 gear ratio folding handle. Both have some light surface rust as well. Next is a BRAND NEW hilarious wooden ruler/Stainless Steel fishing knife in the box with cool graphics, made in Japan. NEVER USED, one end of the box has ripped some, even the edges of both sides ... moreof the box repeat what the ruler does, and that is one side is'honest' for the 10" the other for dishonest says 20" This is from Detroits store Hudsons, long out of business. The knife is REALLY tight inside the ruler, and it floats, too! Next is an OLD lure of a fish, he has yellow eyes, measures 3-1/4" wide and has 2 sets of triple hooks attached, a realistic texture to his scales, etc; and is in two pieces, so it must appear to swim and'move' Next are two tin blue sliding boxes called Ideal Sure Shot, made in USA, a bit tough to open, I can see at least 4 weights in one and more than that in the other. These are 1-3/4" wide each. Next are three packages, two of which are brand new, one is made right here in Ann Arbor, Michigan, called Deluxe Rainbow Trolling Rigs, cool graphcis on the package, model# is 4-blade NI Coloroado 22" The next package that is brand new is called Les Davis Tiny Flexitroll nickel regularly only $2.99 at Yankee Department Store, the plastic cover is very loose, 2 of four corners are exposed, in fact.
