Up for auction is this vintage Fly Fishing Tackle Satchel with all original tackle. Flies and 4 Shakespeare reels. This box is exactly how I found it, l cleaned the dust from the exterior and obviously took everything out to take pictures and then put everything back. This auction is for everything you see in the pics and is from the 1960's era. All the flies are made of wood/cork, some are in great shape and some show signs of use. I have no idea if the Shakespeare Silent Tru-Art reels are in working order or not, they show signs of use, there are two(2) 1538GD models and two(2) 1837GB models, four(4) reels in total. Vintage Shakespeare Johnny Walker fishing reels & box instructions & Pflueger
Three old fishing reels. Shakespeare 1956. Box is in great shape with instruction and parts paper. Reel though is in tough shape. And would need work to function. Same with the Johnny Walker. There is no box for the pfluger, but it is the best functioning of the three. These belonged to my dad who did not throw anything away. Thank you for looking!

You are bidding on a very nice group of Antique HENDRYX fishing reels they include the following: a silver finish baby 40 yard reel. Raised pillar. Black end cap, black knob marked on base plate Hendryx patent date July 10, 1888, the reel is in working order and good condition, minor wear to the silver finish 2" diameter, the next is a sweetie, it is the brass body raised pillar, 60 yard, s ame markings on base and is in good working order. Very mi nor wear to the knob. 2.25" diameter including pillar, with a nice polish she is a beauty, and the final is an 80 y ard reel I believe it too may be brass. But this particular model has the dark finish on it, the center of the spool is turning green from age and it has wear to the edges. Marked on the base plate same patent date as other two. This auction is for a vintage fishing lot. Which includes, some fishing flys, 2 reels and a creel. The vintage creel is in good condition given the age. It does have a couple flaws. The top( as pictured) has a small amount of broken weave, and the loop on the back is missing. Over all the weave is in good condition. Minor scuffing to leather. It could use some leather oil to soften it up a bit. Please look ar pictures for more detail. Some of the flies are on a block. And some in a leather case. The ones on the block look in better condition. There are two reels. One reel is a UNION HARDWARE COMPANY No7169 Torrington. Conn. The other reel is a Pflueger Sal-Trout Made in the U.S.A. There's a hemostat on a retractable line attached to the front- easy to get to when working on flies in the trout boat. There's a retractable Orvis ring on the back as well to hang things on. As well as a zipper pouch. The left shoulder has a patch of fleece to hold your flies. As well as a home fashioned rubber lined-dual sided leather covered flap for your line. The 6' Montague rod is known as the 12DB"Dreadnaught"Tip and butt at equal length. Stock: Clear frame ... morefinish split bamboo. Grips: Double, fluted, and finished a rich dark brown. Here we have a pair of wooden spear-backed Nottingham fishing reels. My Dad(who lives in Nottinghamshire) found them while clearing his garage out. He was given them by his Dad when he first took up fishing as a boy, and they weren't new then, which makes them 80 years old at the very least- my Grandad apparently told my Dad they were Victorian, we have no way of telling if that was really true though. Nice condition for their age. A bit grubby but not damaged. The larger reel is 4" diameter, the smaller one is 3.5" Both reels spin OK, the larger one does catch a little at one spot though.
