This auction is for two antique split bamboo fly fishing rods. Both found at the same recent estate sale. The one that is 8' and unmarked was found in the Phillipson tube only and the one 9' marked PHILLIPSON PACEMAKER was found in the sock only so I decided to sell them together although I cannot be sure of the maker of the unmarked one and it probably did not belong in the Phillipson tube. Both are 3 piece rods and they both weigh 5.8 ozs. each. Both rods are in excellent condition and appear just very lightly used with virtually no missing varnish except a few tiny pinhead size spots. The 9' Phillipson is missing 1 line guide at the end of the second section and that is the only detail to note but this should be an easy fix. The hardware holding it together along with the 8 rods and 8 reels I am guessing that this package dates in the range of 1900 to 1925. 2 Vintage wooden deep sea fishing poles Rods tackle outdoors decoration angling
You are bidding on 2 Vintage wooden deep sea fishing poles in good condition. Includes two rods total. Both poles are 2 pc and made of what looks like bamboo. Rod 1 is approx. 56 ½” long and looks slightly lighter weight than rod 2. Rod 2 is approx. 66 ½” long and a little more heavier weight. Both have cork handles w/ metal mounts and don’t seem to have any cracking. The smaller pole has some slight condition issues- the connecting collar has slipped off the pole and needs to be re glued. It will still connect but slips off when disassembling. The poles do not interchange w/ each other.These have been used and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage. For your consideration I am listing a collection of vintage used fiberglass two piece fishing rods. All of these rods have names on them. They are used rods and none of them are perfect. But thay are all in good used condition having all the original eyelets and eyelet wrappings. There is no rust on the eyelets. The handles are all in excellent condition. There are no cracks, splinters or other stuctural damage. Some of these are high end rods. They are all good user rods. You are bidding on a Vintage Bristol Fly Fishing Rod Antique telescoping steel metal with cork handle. VERY NEAT OLD FLY ROD. A long Steel& Brass fly rod in telescopic Steel or Brass? VERY cool old metal Fly Rod! Very nice older steel rod for the collector. This is a long close to 8 feet when pulled apart. The old fly rod is about 3 feet 2 1/2" when together. It extends into three sect ions the handle. A mid piece and the upper piece. It contains only three guides all in goo d shape. 7 Cashion Fishing Rods
I'm selling all my Cashion rods because I took a new deal with a new rod company. 4 of them are one year old. 4 were new in March, one is still in the plastic and still has the tag on it. 3 Fenwick Eagle GLC Spinning and Casting Fishing Rods
3 Fenwick Eagle GLC rods. Two of the rods are spinning rods. And one is a casting rod. The shorter of the rods is a two piece rod. The other two are one piece. The two one piece rods are models ES 66 MH and EC 60 M. I do not know the model of the other rod, because the lettering wore off. The tip on the EC 60 M broke, and needs to be repaired. It still measures around 71 inches, and should work good when repaired. The ES 66 MH measures around 72 inches, so it must have been repaired. Vintage Metal Fishing Rods One South Bend and One Unknown
This listing includes two metal rods one of them is a South Bend and the other does not have any markings on it. The South Bend has an eye off but it is with the rod. It would need to be welded back on. The South Bend is 60" long and the other is 57" long. This is not a business.
