Vtg Gas Tank Float from Gulf Gas Oil Distribution Station Great Display Piece!
Vintage Gas Tank Propane Float Guage without the guage on the bottom. This is an old float we found in an old gulf distribution center. We just bought out another which makes 2 old Gulf Distrubution Centers and both have lots of merchandise from it from the 60s-80s. I'm not sure of the age of this float. As far as I can tell it works fine but it doesn't have the guage in it. I do have some in my store while supplies last that do have the guages in them. It needs some cleaning but the mechanism moves freely. You can leave it like it is though for a rustic look. It does have some surface rust. All of this can be seen in my pictures and I suggest you look at them to make sure you agree with the condition we have stated and make sure we have not missed something. The card stock cover is dirty and has a crease where it is flips up. There is some minor edge and corner wear. There is a piece of carbon paper attached to the back cover. This is a lot of 8 maps. The Esso Tennessee/ Kentucky map is dated 1959' Eastern United States is dated 1959, the red North Carolina/ South Carolina map is dated 1952. The white North Carolina/ South Carolina map says'issues October 1965' the Gulf Tourguide Map of North and South Carolina doesn't have a date that I could find, the Delaware Maryland Virginia West Virginia Pure oil Pathfinder map is also doesn't have a date that I could find. The Alabama- Georgia map says'issues September 1965' and the larger United States map doesn't have a date that I could find. This map has the title'Map of Historic Routes' These are the dates on the maps. All 8 maps. One price. I have used maps like these to create artwork. For instance. I took the Ashville portion from a North Carolina map and added pictures over ... moreit of my visit to Ashville. I used the Miami portion of a Florida map for pictures of my trip to South Beach. These rare archival materials show the continuing activism on the KSU campus in the decades after the killings. Some folding and slight yellow is to be expected for newspapers that are almost twenty-five years old. But they are in great shape for their age. Included are: 1) Three Issues of the Daily Kent Stater. The Kent State University student newspaper. The Daily Kent Stater. Was strongly involved in all of the peace and justice activism on the campus and was in fact closed down by the college administration at times ... morefor it. All three issues are quite rare. The three issues included here, all with photographs, are: Friday. September 7, 1990: Protests over publication of Kent State University Press' catalogue with photos of Ku Klux Klan members on cover and over KSU's refusal to recycle. Wednesday.
