Vernon Maine area. It measures 14" x 14" Please excuse the creases. This old woodsman's not very handy with an iron. Other than that this piece is in great condition. It was found in a bag of old homespun cloth all of which was labled with names and dates. from the late 1700's and early 1800's. Ask questions before bidding. Money back if your not happy. Offering a vintage 800 Silver Souvenir Spoon marked Cuba in the bowl and the crest at the top of the spoon. The detailed enamel work shows the Maine Monument in Havana in the bowl of this fine souvenir spoon. This monument was constructed in 1925 to pay tribute to the 266 U.S. sailors that died in an explosion on the Ship while in the Havana Harbor in Feb. 1898. The colors are vibrant and you will find this spoon in great Estate Condition. One small dot shows in the photo under the“U” in Cuba, believe it was a bubble in the enamel, but does not detract from the collectability of this fine spoon. This fan is really great. It is app. 7" long and 5" wide when closed. When open it's widest point is 10" Please note the advertising on the back. I love how they have spelled neighborhood. The telephone number also indicates the age of this. It has been many. Many years since those have been around. The only condition issue is the right outside edge is showing wear. It is really minor. The dark line on the right side is just shading. It will be a great addition to any collection.

One pound bag of Maine Sea Glass I am selling this sea glass on behalf of an older lady who spends hours every day walking the coastline of Rockport. Maine on private property, collecting sea glass. The pictures provided are an example of what one pound of sea glass looks like. We are selling sea glass in 1 lb bags, 5 lb bags, and 10 lb bags. The sea glass has not been altered in any way from when it was collected. SHIPPING FOR THIS IS FREE. If you have any questions. Please ask before purchasing. Below is a quote from the sea glass collector: This sea glass was collected from both beach and ledge areas so there is a wide range of grades. Some of it is perfectly roughed up and made smooth by the waves with rounded edges. While some has part smooth, part ragged edges because of the waves knocking the glass against the ledges. Some of it is ... moredefinitely usable for jewelry- all sizes, shapes, and a variety of colors. Some of it is far less polished but would be great for crafts, mosaics or other projects. A bunch of pieces broken by the ledges left triangle shaped sea glass, which is pretty neat. I picked up pretty much all sea glass that I came across, regardless of grade, and if it was a rare color, even if it was more glass than sea glass, I picked it up for the sake of variety. Sizes range from tiny pieces to larger chunks, including several intact round bottoms of bottles and the necks of bottles. Some of the sea glass are mostly smooth but it's obvious the waves smacked it against the ledges and a piece of it broke off, but the flat/sharp side could probably be smoothed out with tumbler or some other method. Some of the glass is pretty rough or more glass than sea glass, but could easily be improved if someone wanted to smooth it out. These early souvenirs were produced in the Northeast until around 1930. This canoe form is a light blue with 1916 in bead work on the front of one side while the other side has small clusters of bead work. Still has the original bead work hanger handle which needs to be sewn with 1 stitch to the canoe-I did not dare do this and change the integrity of the piece as found at a local estate here in Maine. It does appear that there are some beads missing from the unattached end-this can be sewn"as is" or other beads added. This was most likely sold as souvenir piece from a visit to Maine. Pictured on the stamps is the U.S.S. Maine. Which of course blew up just outside Havana harbor and sparked this war. For Documentary stamps there are: 1) A MNH block of 6 of#R163. With a plate number attached. Technically this is not a plate block in that the number should be next to the middle stamp. The catalog value of a plate block like this $45.00 2) The is also a strip of 4 of#163 that is also MNH. For Proprietary stamps there are 1) A block of 4 of#RB20. The top 2 stamps are MH while the bottom 2 are MNH 2) A block of 4 of#RB22 in MNH condition 3) A block of 4 of#RB23. The top 2 stamps are MH.
