The card stampbox is AZO 2-up. 2-down(1910– 1930) According to the Albany city history website: In 1871 the first locomotive whistle was heard in Albany. The world's longest wooden railroad drawbridge was built in 1888 by the Oregon Pacific Railroad for the Albany-Corvallis run. By 1910. 28 passenger trains departed daily from Albany going in five different directions. The bridge was replaced in the early 1920’s with a concrete and steel bridge. The globe is cast"OWRR&N Co" It has two scratches near the top of the side opposite the marking. The worst scratch is about and inch and a half long and can be felt from one side. It almost looks like a crack and in fact may be, but it is not visible when the globe is in in the lantern since it is up near the retainer. This lantern seems to have a short globe retainer(as found) but is generally very clean- minor pitting on the lid and bottom horizontal but a clean font-holder base. All in all a nice survivor from this UP subsidiary in the Pacific Northwest.
