The armoire is thought to be from a Quebec priory. It has been in my family for over a hundred years. The"skirting" at the bottom had some minor damage and was restored by adding some plaster. For sale here is a silver and enamel spoon dating to the early years of the 20th Century- the spoon has a bowl depicting as city scape with the word'Quebec' The finial is enamelled with a maple leaf surmounted by a crown. And with the word'Canada' The spoon is 104 mm long. Condition is fine- wear commensurate with age. The are two tiny flakes in the enamel above the'A' in the banner and above the'A' in the white background of the malpe leaf. Both are very hard to see.
