Vintage Hand Forged Seven (7) Tyne Fish Spear - Perhaps Wendlin Pimpl Minnesota
Although found at a Michigan estate sale this past fall. This vintage, hand forged fishing spear has many characteristics of the famous spear maker in Minnesota named Wendlin Pimpl. Sorry to say, I'm not an advanced enough spear collector to be able to verify this but,it certainly has many signs to indicate it. Most notably is the center, one piece construction that ends up being the middle tyne. What appears to be slightly different is the squared style tynes versus the more rounded outer tynes that he usually made. Perhaps he made variations of these. All the tynes and barbs are complete with the only flaw being a slight bend to one of the outside tynes. There is a threaded end on the spear that actually makes it 16" long. Riffe 5ft Speargun I am not sure of the model number of this Riffe speargun. It appears to be in fabulous condition but I am not a diver and am unable to test for complete functionality. For bid is this used Vintage Antique 7 Tine Fishing Spear Trident use for spear fishin and ice fishin. I do not know much about the spear. I have a few i will be listing, i found them in our old horse barn. This spear has 7 tines and it looks like the points might need to be sharpened. On the top of the spear there is a threaded part where you would screw your handle on, it looks to be about 1/2" across as you see in picture 3. The spear is about 7 3/4" wide, from the longest tine point to the top where the handle would screw on is about 17 5/8" long, and Im not sure of the age or make. What I have here is a Korean made Les Paul body style guitar by a company called Spear. I don't know what year. But I don't think it is very old(guessing early 2007-08) All the electronics have had been professionally set up and the action on the neck/body have been gone over to make sure there are no issues what so ever. The frets are brand new, and show no sign of wear. Really the guitar is about as close to brand new as you can get, without it actually being new. I've had the original pickups replaced with a set of Dean"DimeBuckers" And it simple SCREAMS now with these hotter, and much better quality Dean pickups! ... moreAll the pots have been upgraded as well. This guitar plays as good as it looks! I'm*really* not happy to be selling this guitar. The wood specs on this guitar: Mahogany body. And neck. Ebony fretboard(real ebony.not'ebonized' The pickups are Dean. They are passive. Not active pickups. I've had this guitar professionally set up, so the action is low and the neck is very straight. No fret wear at all on this guitar. The neck is very slim.kind of reminds me of those 80's shredder guitars from Jackson and Ibanez. Very fast fretboard! The only non-standard hardware on this guitar. I replaced the original pickups with a nice set of Dean pickups. Really incredibly beautiful guitar. Up for sale is a barely used like new JBL Woody 38 Special Speargun. I went diving and only had it in the water once for about 30 minutes. Then it was cleaned and stored. It has been in my climate controlled closet for the past few years. It is in almost perfect shape with only a few small marks in the wood. You can see them in the last picture. There is also some paint on it where my initials were but it does not affect the function. It does need 2 new slings(about $15) as they are dry rot. One popped when I was testing it. It has stainless steel line on it and a slip tip break away point. I will also throw in a Rotating Dual Wing Rock Point spear tip which came with the gun but was never used. I removed it when I bought the gun and never used it.
