This antique Pflueger with a bull dog trade mark. Oceanic Free Spool Surf Casting reel is made in the USA. I believe it to be from the early 1900's. It has all kinds of pat. numbers on it and works well. This is a 300, stamped on the bottom of the reel, still has its leather and it's flexible. This is the BIG DOG! A vintage Pflueger Temco 300. As I understand it there were 3 models. The 200. The 250 and the 300. This is the biggest of the 3. Handle is original and is wood. This one would look great on the wall, or you could fish it next week. See pictures for appearance, but it all works mechanically, I saw one go for $47 on this site and the clicker did not work. This is loud and clear, the gears are great, just has some surface corrosion. This is a Lot of 3. Vintage Penn Fishing Reel- Long Beach#60 and 2- Surf Masters#200. All work but have not been tested in the water. The Long Beach#60 has been repaired. It has a crack on one side of the bake lite housing/trim. Seems to work fine. Both of The Surf Master#200 reels are in good used condition. There is some pitting in the steel. Bakelite is in nice condition. May need some oil and love. Here is what I don't know- I have no idea if anything is missing on any of these. All 3 appear to be intact. Chrome parts close to excellent, but does have a hair line crack to the spool and head plate as seen in the last 2 photos. It is in very good functional shape. The crank, star, posts, rings and seat are very good top excellent shape and all shiny quite nice shape. Headplate have a crack at about the 5 O'clock area you can see in the last photo. It does hold very good and looks good in all. Tailplate is in very good shape with good clicker. RARE Cabelas predator European rod fishing 11ft 1 3/4 lb surf river
Our European Predator spinning rods are designed for bait-fishing northern pike. Catfish and other large fish. These rods are great for long-distance casting of hard baits for almost any species of fish. Just take some time and read reviews of this rod online. Discontinued and a rare find! As you can see in photo there is a slight area of discoloration on cork handle. This is from a strip of tape I used to mark my reel position. It shows only light signs of use. I used it for one or two weekends per year steelhead fishing(spring run) Never abused or misused. Please check my feedback and buy with confidence.
